CCB’s Change of Airport VIP Service Processes

Published time:2008-02-29

Dear Customers,

In a bid to raise the quality and efficiency of its services at airports, CCB has developed a service system exclusively for high-end customers effected by placing POS machines at VIP areas in airports for card identification and privilege point management. Once this system is in operation from April 1st 2008 onwards, CCB high-end customers will be able to enjoy VIP services by producing a relevant bank card and applying their privilege points. Details are as follows:

1.    Airport Service Process

To use VIP services at airports, a customer has to produce for POS machine swiping by attendants either a CCB Platinum Card, an August 1st Dragon Platinum Card, a Diamond or a Platinum card. The system will make an identification and deduct the necessary privilege points and the customer will then confirm the transaction by signing on a POS receipt. If there are insufficient points associated with the card to cover for the service consumption, airport VIP service will not be offered.

2.    Reward Point Enquiries

Starting from April 1st 2008, customers can enquire about their privilege points through designated account managers at CCB branches, financial management centres or wealth management centres. Customers who have signed up for phone-banking can dial 95533#001 for enquiries.

3.    Privilege Point Reckoning

In any month, if a customer's average daily balance of financial asset value (including deposits, treasury bonds, financial management products, funds, etc) exceeds RMB 200,000, CCB will make privilege point calculations for the next month. The rate of reckoning is at 0.8% of the average balance for the month.

4.    Kind reminders

If there are insufficient points to cover for the service consumption, a customer will have to make adjustments to its financial assets with CCB to ensure that CCB’s VIP services can be enjoyed.
