Recently the Ministry of Finance and the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) held the 2004 work conference on certificate treasury bonds underwriting syndicate and reviewed the issuance of certificate treasury bonds in 2003.　

For the issuance of certificate treasury bonds in 2003, CCB completed the underwriting of RMB 35.63 billion of certificate treasury bonds and cashed RMB 29 billion of certificate treasury bonds due in the previous year. In addition, the bank carefully prepared for and organized the 10th anniversary of issuing certificate treasury bonds, which is recognized by the Ministry of Finance and the PBOC. Given the outstanding achievements of CCB in the area of certificate treasury bonds, the bank was conferred by the Ministry of Finance and the PBOC as the “2003 Leading Underwriter of Certificate Treasury Bonds” at the conference and received the qualification as a member of the 2004 treasury bonds underwriting syndicate.
